Godzilla is always portrayed as so harsh, and destructive. He usually gets a pretty bad rap, even if he isn’t doing anything wrong just because of the way he looks. He really isn’t that much different from us. He has problems, goals, achievements, and maybe even regrets. I decided to display the brighter side of Godzilla today because nobody should be judged on appearance or their past. I think these four videos could change your mind about Godzilla.’
The first video characterizes Godzilla by showing he really has responsibilities, and even a family he provides for. This also begs many other questions like “If Godzilla has a kid, then does he just do his job to put bread on the table?” or “If he did have a kid who did he have it with? Are Godzillas asexual?”
This next video shows that even Godzilla sometimes has a rough day and can’t perform on camera. Sometimes a night of heavy drinking and then starting forest fires with your friends doesn’t seem like a good idea the next day. The main point is though…. even Godzilla fails sometimes. Its okay. We just get up and try again.
This is where we can relate to Godzilla. This is where the comparisons between humans and giant lizards just get weird. This video shows that 1) even Godzilla gets thirsty and parched when hes doing all that work, and 2) Dr. Pepper is irresistible and so delicious even the King Of All Monsters in his frenzied state wants one.
Finally, we come to Godzilla’s achievements. Godzilla received the lifetime achievement award presented by Captain Jean Luc Picard of the USS Enterprise. Godzilla not only knows the captain of the USS Enterprise, he def chills with him on the reg.
